Examples of human vocalizations synthesized with soundgen
IMPORTANT: the attached R code is for soundgen version 1.8.1. It may not work or may produce unexpected results on earlier or later versions.
All originals are taken from the extended 603-sound corpus of human vocalizations obtained from social media (Anikin & Persson, 2017), some of them truncated to ~3 seconds. File numbers (1...590) refer to the original corpus. All synthetic versions are meant to be approximations rather than exact copies. Taken together, they illustrate the range of sounds that can be synthesized and provide a bank of code that can be adapted for synthesizing similar vocalizations. Last updated on Sep 17, 2020.
